Jason is a founding partner of Capital West Partners, LLC and his
responsibility include the oversight of the fundamental research and
all aspects of the portfolio management discipline. Prior
to establishing Capital West Partners, LLC Jason was employed
at two regional investment management firms in Tucson where
he was a fully licensed registered representative. Jason
played hockey at Miami University and played professionally
at the minor league level for four years before entering the business
world. Jason is married to Brandie, a commercial airline pilot.
They are parents to 2 young children, Rylie and Boden. The Cranes
reside in Tucson.
Jason J. Ruther

J.J. is a founding partner of Capital West Partners, LLC and his responsibilities include the oversight of the technical research process, hedging/income augmentation strategies, and all aspects of the portfolio management discipline. JJ has over 10 years experience in the investment management industry and was a portfolio manager at a regional brokerage firm before forming Capital West Partners, LLC. J.J. attended Northern Arizona University and earned a degree in finance while playing football for the Lumberjacks for four years. J.J. and his family have made Tucson their home since 1978. J.J.'s wife, Nancy, also attended Northern Arizona University and taught elementary school for seven years. Nancy is currently a full-time Mom at home with three young sons Jake, Brady and Cole. The Ruthers reside in Tucson.
Corina J. West, CFPP

Education/ Experience: Fourteen years – Operations/Client Service CFPP Designation awarded April, 1998
Corina is a founding member of the Capital West team and has been an invaluable member in all aspects of the firm's start-up and continuing operations. Prior to joining the Capital West team, Corina was employed at a regional brokerage firm and a national brokerage firm, where she was fully licensed as a registered representative. Corina has over 14 years experience in the investment industry. As the daughter of a military man she has traveled extensively. Corina has two children, Bobby and Kyle and is married to Steve, a law enforcement officer.
